Our Philosophy

We take pride in providing you and your provider with quality images in a caring, compassionate, and professional manner. Our team is committed to offering patients a variety of diagnostic imaging techniques and up-to-date technology. At McKenzie Health System, we respect your time and understand that getting a test completed is not how you want to spend your day, so we make it our goal to serve you as quickly as possible.

Before Your Test

If a referral or preauthorization is required, the staff at McKenzie Health System will assist you in obtaining the proper referral. It is important to us that you feel as prepared, relaxed, and as comfortable for your test as possible. Some tests require preparation. If this is necessary, your provider will provide you with pre-test instructions.

Test Results

Once your test results are available, our team will send a report to your provider, who will share the results with you. Please allow your provider adequate time to record the findings in your patient file before calling their office.

Our Testing Services

ProFound AI (Artificial Intelligence) Technology

McKenzie is one of the first imaging centers in Michigan to offer this leading-edge AI technology. While AI isn’t meant to replace doctors, new research suggests it’s a reliable tool that reduces the rate of false positives and unnecessary recalls for patients. It also helps doctors more accurately find breast cancer sooner when it is easier to treat. It also reduces reading time for radiologists by more than half, allowing them to spend more time with patients. Positive clinical results from a large reader study involving ProFound AI for DBT were recently published in Radiology: Artificial Intelligence.

ProFound AI™ is the first and only FDA-cleared 3D tomosynthesis software using artificial intelligence (AI). It is a high-performance, deep-learning workflow solution that offers critical benefits to radiologists and patients alike.

Built on the latest deep-learning technology, the software rapidly and accurately analyzes each tomosynthesis image, detecting both malignant soft-tissue densities and calcifications with unrivaled accuracy. The platform is revolutionizing the way radiologists read mammography and offers a transformative solution to address challenges clinicians currently face as technology evolves.

CT Scan Services

Computed Tomography allows clinicians to view images of internal organs, bones, soft tissue, and blood vessels. These X-ray-like images require the use of small amounts of radiation. The McKenzie Diagnostic Imaging Department is committed to providing your provider with the highest quality images utilizing the lowest radiation dosage to you. That’s why we use the Toshiba VeloCT system for advanced image studies and reduced doses. By utilizing the best CT solutions, we are able to enhance patient care and safety.
