The Patient Access Services (PAS) Department verifies insurance coverage and benefits for patients who have been scheduled for a procedure or hospital stay. The PAS Department works directly with provider offices and insurance companies to confirm that all required referrals and authorizations have been approved prior to your procedure.
The staff in your provider’s office will notify your insurance company of your pending surgery to obtain prior approval. During this process, someone from the provider’s office may contact you to ensure all necessary information has been received. If you have any questions about this process, please call 810-648-3770.
The McKenzie Health System providers, nurses, and healthcare specialists are committed to providing you with excellent care and service. Patients who have any concerns regarding their care are encouraged to voice those concerns by calling our Concern Hot Line at 810-648-6146. After you leave a message a McKenzie Health System representative will call you back, they will listen to, review and resolve the issue if possible.
