McKenzie Health System and Farm Bureau Health Services Announce 2025 “Medicare Made Easy” Workshop Series

Sanilac County, Mich. – McKenzie Health System, in collaboration with Farm Bureau Health Services, is pleased to announce a series of “Medicare Made Easy” workshops designed to help individuals better understand Medicare and their healthcare options. Each workshop will offer two session times, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., to accommodate various schedules.
The upcoming workshops will be held at the following locations:
- April 3, 2025 – Lexington United Methodist Church, 5597 Main St., Lexington, MI 48450
- June 5, 2025 – Bark Shanty Community Center, 135 Church St., Port Sanilac, MI 48469
- August 7, 2025 – Brown City Missionary Church, 8935 E Burnside Rd, Brown City, MI 48416
- September 4, 2025 – Sandusky Presbyterian Church, 104 Lexington St., Sandusky, MI 48471
Each workshop will be presented by Alecia Parks, Health Insurance Navigator at McKenzie Health System, and Cindy Leen, Health Insurance Agent - Medicare Products at Farm Bureau Health Services.
Medicare Made Easy is a free community workshop aimed at helping individuals navigate the complexities of Medicare. Whether you are approaching Medicare eligibility, assisting a loved one, or simply seeking more clarity, this workshop provides valuable information on:
- What Medicare is and who qualifies
- How and when to enroll
- Understanding Medicare’s ABCs (Parts A, B, C, and D)
- Medicare costs and coverage options
- Maximizing Medicare benefits
