McKenzie After-Hours Clinic Expands Services to Include DOT Physicals

McKenzie After-Hours Clinic is pleased to announce the addition of DOT (Department of Transportation) physical examinations to its comprehensive list of services. Effective immediately, individuals requiring DOT physicals, as well as sports and pre-employment physicals, can now conveniently access them at the After-Hours Clinic located in the Outpatient Area of the Hospital Campus, at 120 Delaware Street in Sandusky.

DOT physicals are mandatory for individuals seeking to obtain or renew commercial driver's licenses (CDLs) or other professional driving permits. These examinations ensure that drivers meet the health standards set by the Department of Transportation, promoting safety on our roads. Ideally patients schedule an appointment with their primary care provider, but when they are not able to schedule the visit in time, the After-Hours Clinic is available to assure you have what you need in time.

"At McKenzie After-Hours Clinic, we are committed to serving the diverse healthcare needs of our community," said Heather Baumeister, BSN, RN, Director of Healthcare Practices. "By offering DOT physicals, we aim to provide a convenient and accessible solution for individuals requiring this important examination."

Patients are encouraged to schedule an appointment for their DOT physical to ensure minimal wait times and to streamline their visit. However, walk-in appointments are also welcome during our operating hours.

To schedule a DOT physical or for more information, individuals can contact the McKenzie After-Hours Clinic at 810-648-6202 or visit our website at www.McKenzieHealth.org/After-Hours.

The McKenzie After-Hours Clinic is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care beyond regular business hours, providing peace of mind and convenience for our community.
