Is It Safe to Eat Fish from Sanilac County? McKenzie Health System Explores the Topic in Next Healthy Living Together Event

McKenzie Health System is excited to announce the upcoming Healthy Living Together event, focusing on the safety of consuming fish from Sanilac County waters. The event will feature Harry Castle, Community Engagement Coordinator, Division of Environmental Health, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services; and Laurie Messing, Food Safety Educator, Michigan State University Extension, as the keynote speakers, providing valuable insights and information on this important topic.
The live event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 20, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Participants can join via Zoom or dial in by phone to engage in the discussion. The session will be interactive, allowing attendees to pose questions and share comments during the Q&A segment. For those unable to attend the live session, recordings will be available on McKenzie Health System’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.
