McKenzie Health is excited to announce its upcoming in-person event focused on promoting healthy living among seniors through exercise. The in-person event, which will take place on Wednesday, June 19, from 12:00-1:00 p.m., at the Diamond Trail in Sandusky, will feature expert presenters Joyce Edwards, Senior Exercise Instructor, and Shannon Kautz, PT, DPT, Physical Therapist at McKenzie Health System.

Exercise has long been recognized for its numerous benefits for seniors, including improved balance, flexibility, strength, and overall well-being. This event aims to provide valuable insights and practical tips to help seniors incorporate these activities into their daily routines.

“Participants will have the opportunity to engage with the presenters, ask questions, and learn from their expertise in senior fitness and physical therapy,” shares Nina Barnett, Public Relations and Foundation Coordinator at McKenzie Health System and Healthy Living Committee Chair. “This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from local experts and ask questions along the way. Join us as we empower seniors to lead healthier, more active lives through the power of exercise.”

Registration for this in-person event is now open. To reserve your spot, please visit McKenzieHealth.org/Healthy-Living or call 810-648-6117.
