I look forward to providing comprehensive care to the residents of Sanilac County and surrounding areas."
Born in Bedford, Texas, and raised in Grapevine, Texas, Dr. Coplin developed an interest in medicine during high school due to personal family experiences and the influence of empathetic physicians who could communicate complex medical concepts effectively. He played competitive soccer for 15 years and continues to be active in local leagues. After completing a one-year residency program in Houston, Texas, where he met his wife, Dr. Coplin pursued his specialty in Internal Medicine in Hialeah, Florida.

"We are excited to welcome him and are confident that he will have a positive impact on the health and well-being of our community."
Dr. Coplin expressed his enthusiasm for joining McKenzie Health System, not only to be close to his wife but also due to the positive feedback he received about the community and organization. "This is an amazing part of the country, and this move allows me to focus on care in a rural setting, which is something I have come to appreciate immensely," he said.
