McKenzie Family Healthcare Providers Among 2024 Million Hearts® Hypertension Control Champions

McKenzie Health System proudly celebrates seven of its outstanding healthcare providers who have been named 2024 Million Hearts® Hypertension Control Champions. This prestigious national recognition highlights clinicians and health centers that have achieved exceptional success in helping at least 80% of their patients with hypertension control their blood pressure—a crucial factor in preventing heart disease and stroke.
The following McKenzie providers have been recognized for their extraordinary dedication to hypertension management and their patients’ health:

This honor underscores the commitment of McKenzie Rural Health Clinic’s team to providing lifesaving care and prioritizing patient outcomes. By achieving these impressive results, they have set a benchmark for excellence in hypertension control and demonstrated their dedication to community health.

This year, Million Hearts® recognized 32 Champions across 14 states, including clinicians, practices, and health centers. By achieving high levels of hypertension control, these Champions are helping to prevent hundreds of thousands of cardiovascular events nationwide.
The Million Hearts® initiative offers resources such as the Hypertension Control Change Package and inspiring success stories to encourage other healthcare providers to adopt best practices for hypertension management.
