“Go Red Ladies Night” Virtual Event Scheduled for February 10
An early Valentine for local women, the virtual “Go Red Ladies Night” event on February 10 at 7 p.m., sponsored by the McKenzie Foundation Community Relations Committee, will focus on heart health, fitness over 50, and heart-healthy eating. The free virtual event celebrating women’s health and wellness will feature a variety of speakers and gift certificate giveaways throughout the evening. Registration is now available at www.McKenzieHealth.org/GoRed or by calling 810-648-6127.
“Go Red Ladies Night” is designed to give women an opportunity to learn more about topics that directly affect their health and will include a question-and-answer session as well. Featured speakers are McKenzie Family Nurse Practitioner Brandy Trepkowski, McKenzie Director of Rehabilitation Services and Physical Therapist Jenny Long, and McKenzie Registered Dietitian Kristina Myers.
“Last year’s virtual event involved a lot of great information and plenty of laughs,” said Penny Tubbs, McKenzie Foundation Community Relations Chair. We look forward to celebrating the amazing women in our community once again. You can wear a little red, bring any health-related questions or concerns, and enjoy a fantastic evening of community from the comfort of your home.”
Gifts certificates, which have been purchased from local health and wellness related businesses from around the county, will be given away throughout the event.
