McKenzie Auxiliary Makes Donation
The McKenzie Auxiliary recently made a donation to McKenzie Health System for the dining room renovations and for the purchase of two Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for McKenzie Orthopedics and McKenzie Telehealth Clinic. Funds were raised during the 2018 Golf Outing and the 2019 Fall Into the Holiday Spirit event.
“The McKenzie Auxiliary has been an important extension of MHS since the very beginning,” said Steve Barnett, President, and CEO of MHS. “They are committed to raising funds to address specific needs within the organization which in turn benefits our local community. We appreciate the tremendous amount of work this group of volunteers puts into helping us attain our goal of exceptional healthcare.”
“Each time we are able to make a donation to MHS, we do so realizing it is only possible because of the generosity of our volunteers, sponsors, MHS employees, and community members,” added Becky Cambridge, Auxiliary President.
Throughout the year, the Auxiliary will continue to raise money for projects. Please keep in mind the upcoming Golf Scramble which will take place on June 4, 2020. Information and registration forms will be available soon at www.McKenzieHealth.org or by calling 810-648-6127.
Founded in 1967, the MHS Auxiliary is comprised of individuals that volunteer thousands of hours. Members donate their time and talents for the benefit of the hospital, working in the gift shop, providing support at community events, and coordinating fundraising opportunities.
