Patients who visited McKenzie Health System in the first quarter of 2020 rated the system highly in all areas, according to a recent survey. The system earned high patient satisfaction scores for inpatient services, the emergency department, outpatient, and surgical services.
“At McKenzie Health System, we continually focus on delivering the best inpatient services and are pleased to see these efforts recognized in the latest survey,” said Jenifer Monzo, Director of Quality and Risk Management. “We appreciate the patients who took the time to respond as well as the team members who give their all every day, especially during these challenging times.”
McKenzie Health System performs ongoing surveys and reviews to track patient satisfaction measures, sending surveys to recent outpatient, surgical, and emergency department patients while Arbor Associates manages phone surveys for inpatient visits. Respondents are asked to rate the hospital for its services during their recent visit or stay and all areas hit the “excellent” target in the most recent review.
In addition, Arbor Associates noted that McKenzie Health System’s scores for overall satisfaction and patient willingness to recommend the system to others were in the top 10 percent of national rankings among Arbor Associate consumers. To celebrate, staff were treated to cupcakes from Sugartown Sweets Shop for their dedication and achievements.
