It will be a night of clean comedy as the auxiliaries of McKenzie Hospital System and Marlette Regional Hospital present “The Evelyn Smallbladder Show” with comedian Denise Gutenschwager. The special event takes place April 18 at 7 p.m. at Croswell-Lexington High School and will raise funds to benefit the patients and communities of both hospital systems through raffles, drawings and 50/50.
“Ms. Smallbladder approaches her later years with humor and good advice, helping us recognize that we are all in this together. We are thrilled to offer comedy, community and a night of fun with this special fundraiser and look forward to a lot of laughs and success for both organizations,” said Nina Barnett, Public Relations Coordinator, McKenzie Health System.
Previous attendees of “The Evelyn Smallbladder Show” have responded enthusiastically with comments such as “I think a new personal record has been broken for my longest continuous string of hearty laughter.” and “Thank you for the best cure-all elixir around – lots and lots of side-splitting laughter.”
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door and can be purchased at: Marlette Regional Hospital Front Desk and Gift Shop and at Sweet Maggie Blue in Marlette; McKenzie Health System Gift Shop and the Tribune-Recorder-Leader in Sandusky; Cros-Lex Laundry and Tanning in Croswell; and Studio Hair Design & Spa in Lexington.
