McKenzie Health System Foundation Receives Donation from the Goodtimers

The McKenzie Health System Foundation recently received a donation from the Goodtimers following their win at the Sanilac County Community Foundation (SCCF) Anniversary Celebration. As part of the celebration, the SCCF ran a “$25k for 25” campaign during the month of May. The three participating non-profits that raised the most funds had an opportunity, during the June 1 celebration event, to compete for a $25,000 endowed fund by securing audience votes. The Goodtimers won the endowed fund and pledged to give all participating non-profits $500 as way to recognize the many worthy groups.

In fulfilling their pledge, Scotty Wadsworth and Steve Keinath, both from the Goodtimers, recently delivered a check to the McKenzie Health System Foundation. The funds will be used to help with the recent purchase of the 3D mammography machine.

“We really appreciate the Goodtimers decision to make donations to the other participating organizations,” said Steve Barnett, President and CEO of McKenzie Health System. “There are a number of groups in this area that are making a difference in the lives of community members and we appreciate the Goodtimers support of our mission to deliver quality healthcare.”
