Healthy Lifestyle Focuses on Human Trafficking on March 25

The Healthy Lifestyle Series is addressing a serious and timely topic at its March 25 workshop on “Human Trafficking” which will be presented by Stephanie Krieger, Analyst/Engagement Specialist with s7 Consulting. This “adults only” workshop takes place on Monday, March 25, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. in the McKenzie Health System Dining Room, 120 Delaware St., Sandusky. Pre-registration is required by calling 810-648-6117 or emailing publicrelations@mckenziehealth.org.

“Unfortunately, human trafficking is a relevant issue to address in Sanilac County, in spite of our rural location,” reports Louise Blasius, LMSW, LPC, Director of Human Services at McKenzie Health System and Healthy Lifestyle Committee Chairperson. “Human trafficking takes place all over the world, and all of us should be aware of it. Ms. Krieger will shed light on what human trafficking looks like and how it happens. Questions from the audience will be encouraged. Due to the sensitive nature of this topic, only adults are invited to attend.”

For more information about the workshop, contact Louise Blasius at 810-648-6181; to reserve your spot, contact Public Relations at 810-648-6117.
