About

Nurse Practitioner Shaina Martin earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on child advocacy from the University of South Carolina - Upstate, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Northwestern - St. Paul. She then pursued her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner, from Spring Arbor University.

Shaina has worked in various settings including acute care, ICU, PAT, Perioperative, OR, Homecare, and department management. Her most recent roles include serving as a nurse practitioner at the McKenzie After-Hours Clinic, and with MRG, where she provided care to veterans.

Shaina's inspiration to pursue a career in nursing stemmed from her close relationship with her grandparents. Her grandmother, who became a nurse practitioner later in life, served as a significant influence. Attending her grandmother's graduation for her master’s degree left a lasting impression on Shaina and motivated her to follow a similar path in healthcare.
