About
Dr. Lindsey D. Rieck, DO brings extensive experience in general surgery, trauma, and critical care, with a strong background in acute care and surgical critical care.
Before joining McKenzie Health System, Dr. Rieck served as a General Surgeon at Lake Huron Medical Center in Port Huron, Michigan, and as a Trauma & Acute Care Surgeon at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. She previously completed her General Surgery Residency through McLaren Oakland & Macomb in Pontiac and Mount Clemens, Michigan; her Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University; and her Trauma Fellowship at Hurley Medical Center.
Dr. Rieck earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado. She also holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Dakota and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of South Dakota, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
She is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Society of Breast Surgeons, American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, Society of American Gastrointestinal & Endoscopic Surgeons, Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
