HR Generalist (FT)

Title: HR Generalist

Department: Human Resources (HR)

Status: Full time – 40 hours/week

QUALIFICATIONS/POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

A. Education/Experience

  1. High School Graduate or equivalent, required.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, preferred.
  3. Minimum 5-year experience in HR field required.
  4. Advanced level of proficiency in computer software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with the ability to learn additional programs as needed.
  5. General knowledge of healthcare environment, standards and regulation, preferred.
  6. Coordinates the externships, internships and job shadow rotations, including all necessary documentation.
  7. Coordinate talent acquisition processes with Directors/Managers and assist with recruitment tasks as needed.
  8. Coordinate on-boarding process of new employees from application to new hire orientation.
  9. Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation.
  10. Coordinates the tracking, scheduling and executing of educational/yearly mandatories.
  11. Assist with the administration and review of compensation and benefit plans
  12. Assist in drafting and developing policies, procedures and standards with Director’s oversight.
  13. Assist in immigration and VISA administration.
  14. Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics.
  15. Tracks due dates of employee performance reviews and collaborates with supervisors to help create the necessary documentation of employee’ performance.
  16. Maintain employee personnel files and databases.
  17. Ensure compliance with labor regulations

  8. Knowledge and ability to learn the use of various office equipment.
  9. Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  10. Aptitude in problem-solving

JOB SUMMARY:The HR Generalist will support HR administration for a variety of employee services and engagement activities that include but not limited to new hire orientation and onboarding, data management, maintaining files, conduct audit reporting, benefits and leave, while aligning with organizational policies and procedures. This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to prioritize and change gears quickly.
