“Have you ever wondered why some medication can be taken with food and others should only be taken on an empty stomach, or why some medication should not be taken with certain kinds of fruit juices?” asks Louise Blasius, LMSW, LPC, Director of Community and Human Services at McKenzie Health System. “Come to the January 18th Lunch and Learn workshop to learn answers to these question and other important information about how medication and food can interact.”
As always, this Lunch and Learn workshop will provide valuable information in a relaxed, personal atmosphere and questions will be welcomed. In addition, attendees will be able to enjoy a delicious, healthy meal.
“Because our dining room has limited seating, pre-registrations are required,” informs Blasius. “We encourage people to reserve their space as soon as possible. We hope to see you there!” For more information about the workshop, contact Louise Blasius at 810-648-6181; to reserve your spot, contact Nina Barnett at 810-648-6127.
