McKenzie’s Lunch and Learn Workshop to focus on “Heart Health”

Huffaker_ScottMcKenzie Health System invites the public to a “Heart Health” Lunch and Learn Workshop on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, from Noon to 1 p.m. in the McKenzie Health System Dining Room.  Cost to attend is $5, which includes lunch.  Pre-registration is required by calling Nina Barnett at 810-648-6127 or emailing nbarnett@mckenziehealth.org.

The workshop will be presented by Dr. Scott Huffaker, Cardiologist, who serves patients through a partnership with the Covenant Center for the Heart at both McKenzie Health System and Marlette Regional Hospital.  Dr. Huffaker’s practice supports the hospitals’ cardiovascular programs by performing inpatient consultations, cardiovascular testing and minimally invasive surgical procedures such as pacemaker insertion.
