McKenzie Welcomes Stephanie Peruski, MSN, RN to Peck Medical Center

peruski stephanie webMcKenzie Health System is pleased to welcome Nurse Practitioner Stephanie Peruski, MSN, RN, to McKenzie Health System’s (MHS) Family Practice team.  She will begin to see patients in September at McKenzie’s Peck Medical Center at 251 E. Peck Road in Peck.

“Stephanie Peruski’s experience in intensive care nursing has provided her with the skills that are critical to continuing to deliver the high-quality care that people have come to expect from McKenzie Health System,” said Steve Barnett, President and CEO of MHS. “The experience she gained in the Emergency Department at Huron Medical Center will be a great addition to the comprehensive care already offered at our Peck Medical Center.”

Nurse Practitioner Peruski will work alongside Dr. James L. Sams beginning in September. “I’m so happy to play a role in meeting the healthcare needs of the community.  I grew up in rural Michigan and am looking forward to providing routine check-ups, care for illness, and medical procedures to a small town community,” says Peruski.

Nurse Practitioner Peruski is a native of Ubly, Michigan, where her family still resides.  She was drawn to medicine as a way to help people and put her natural compassionate nature to practical use. She graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2010.  She began her nursing career in the Intensive Care Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw where she worked until transferring to the Emergency Department at Huron Medical Center.  She graduated in August from Saginaw Valley State University with a Master of Nursing Practice degree.
